I created the song with us in mind. I wanted to speak life into myself, just as I want you to speak life over yourself when you’re singing it! I’m a realist so I don’t make music to escape or ignore reality, instead I make music that acknowledges the negativity and reminds you to push past it anyway.

This experimental, self-reflective project was released as my debut album in 2022. Through this project, I was able to share my wins, losses, and insecurities as a young black woman in her 20s while exploring the intricacies of adulthood and evolving relationships.
